Usually when we tell our kids that we’re serving them salad, we’re met with lots of “Ewww”s and “No”s. But this colorful, vitamin-packed strawberry sundae salad makes it seem like they’re getting a sweet treat. They’ll be getting their fill of veggies, and we know you’ll love it too.
This perfectly portioned salad fills half of their plate with veggies and the other half with fruit. The cottage cheese and granola in this salad provides protein to keep them satisfied and give them the energy to get through the day.
Here’s how we made it:
Rinse and slice the strawberries. Cut off the green stem to make a heart-shape. Combine the cottage cheese and the orange juice. Top the spinach with cottage cheese mixture, strawberries and granola.
This salad can be enjoyed right away or stored in separate containers in your bento box for later!
