If you have picky eaters in your family, it can be difficult to pack a lunch they'll love. Luckily, our creativity tools can bring fun and imagination to any lunch!
We've shared our tips for dealing with picky eaters before, and one of the best tried and true tricks is to make their lunches as colorful as possible. A good lunch hits all the right notes: colorful, nutritious, and yummy.
When packing lunch, keep foods separated in the different containers of your bento set, or by using our creativity tools. Foods that are bite-sized encourage little fingers to pick them up.
We encourage you to think outside the box: use our sandwich cutters to create fun shapes and separate foods. We used our butterfly sandwich cutter to separate this healthy vegetarian salad.
Here's how you can make it:
Prepare the pasta and frozen corn according to package instructions. Combine the black beans, corn and cherry tomatoes in a bowl. Toss with half of the olive oil. Place the butterfly sandwich cutter in your extra large bento container. Carefully fill the inside of the butterfly with the vegetable mixture. Then, toss the pasta with the rest of the olive oil, salt and pepper. Using a fork, fill in the pasta around the butterfly shape.
We packed ours with some strawberries, raspberries and carrots. We also added in our nature picks for extra fun!
