With Easter right around the corner, we thought it would be fun to deck out our bento box with everything bunny, egg, and chocolate- related. With this lunch, it is so simple to add a touch of fun and imagination to a nutritious meal! Your kids will love opening their Easter bento box to see all the goodies inside.
To recreate this Easter bunny, take an Uncrustables sandwich and add candy eyes. Use slices of cheese for the nose, mouth and teeth. Then, cut the ears out of slices of bread and add a line of jelly.
Place your sandwich on top of a bed of lettuce and green grapes. For the flowers, thinly slice rainbow carrots. Then, cut out tiny triangles, rotating the carrot slice as you go.
Of course, you can’t forget the Easter treats! In our orange bento divider, we packed some Annie’s cheddar bunnies. We also tossed in some Cadbury eggs because who can resist those??
Lastly, add in some oranges in quarter slices. Top this Easter bento box off with sliced strawberries and you’re sure to have an eggs-cellent lunch everyone will love!
