In a perfect world, we would have all the time we needed to cross everything off of our To-Do Lists every day. But, we know that in the real world, sometimes we don’t make it to the grocery store or we’re packing lunches with five minutes to spare before running out the door. For those crazy days, these banana nut butter wraps are your savior.
All you need is a whole wheat wrap, a banana and the nut butter of your choice. We used almond butter, which is perfect for kids with peanut allergies! Simply spread the nut butter on the wrap, place the banana in the center of the wrap and roll the wrap over it.
Then, just cut in about one-inch slices. The spread acts like a glue to hold the wrap together, so you end up with an no-fuss lunch, no utensils required! The nut butter is an excellent source of protein, so the wraps will keep your kids full while they’re running from one activity to the next.
We packed ours in our bento box with lots of fresh fruits and veggies, including peppers, grapes and raspberries. We also threw in some popcorn for snacking. Make this lunch for summer camp, a hiking trip or even for a long car ride!
